  1. Electromyography (EMG)
    EMG is done to find diseases that damage muscle tissue, nerves, or the junctions between nerve and muscle. These problem include
    • Myopathy
    • Myasthenia gravis (MG)
  2. Nerve Conduction Velocity: NCV
    NCV is used mainly for evaluation of paresthesias (numbness, tingling, burning) and/or weakness of the arms and legs. Some of the common disorders which can be diagnosed by NCV are:
    • Peripheral neuropathy
    • Ulnar neuropathy
    • Carpal tunnel syndrome
    • Guillain–Barre syndrome
    • Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy
    • Spinal disc herniation
